Dallas Good 2013 fundraiser 13" x 19" print
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Dallas died, the shock of it feels so fresh on this first anniversary.
I captured this image of Dallas Good during a shoot for The Sadies in 2013. I wanted to make it available to those who cared about Dallas while also supporting something meaningful to him.
He loved and cared deeply for his two kitties, Luther and Frederick (see The Sadies video of No One’s Listening for some cute glimpses of them).
Dallas and his wife Amanda were actively involved in helping feral and street cats - feeding and capturing to spay/neuter them.
Luther was a feral cat who they adopted after friends who were feeding her campaigned for her adoption. She regularly insisted on napping in Dallas’s lap when he was over and that sealed the deal. Frederick was an abandoned neighbourhood cat who, after being sheltered and fed outdoors for a couple of years, was neutered and brought in as another winter was beginning to come on. He was instantly at home in his new residence. Both are the sweetest cats and are very happy in their home.
On my initiative and with Amanda’s approval, I am offering an edition of 100 13” x 19” prints of this photo to provide immediate financial assistance in the care of their cats, both of who are being treated for necessary and expensive dental and cardiology work. After expenses, all money will go directly to Amanda.
I’d like to raise as much money as possible so please share this, if you are so inclined. Thanks for your support.
